Message From CHLI President & CEO - Updates and Resources
I hope that you, our Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) familia and friend, find yourself safe and healthy.
As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, the CHLI team is taking extra precautionary measures to ensure prevention from the spread of the virus.
As we do our part and continue to practice social distancing, our organization’s work is as critical as ever. Although we have suspended upcoming programs and are postponing others, the CHLI team will continue to cultivate content and serve our community by transitioning to a more online and digital presence.
Additionally, below you will find the programs, resources, and content that the CHLI is working on to be of service to you, your organization and the Hispanic community.
These are challenging and uncertain times, but we feel confident that as an organization and community, we will get through this together.
Remember, as difficult as this may be, you are not in this alone. The CHLI team is available during our standard hours and through normal channels. We’ll be with you and we will support you in any way we can.

CHLI GLOBAL LEADERS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
CHLI continues to accept applications for its Fall 2020 Global Leaders Internship Program. During the internship, students will get the opportunity to see how the private and public sector work by interning in a Congressional and a corporate setting, all while emerging in the D.C culture.

The challenges brought upon in March 2020 defined many of our career pathways. CHLI Alum Luisana Zambrano experienced this firsthand as part of the Global Leaders cohort to go virtual mid-semester. Regardless of the obstacles arising from the pandemic, Luisana is persevering as she begins the first semester of her master’s program.
