ABOUT the Briefing Series

The CHLI Congressional Briefing Policy series is held on Capitol Hill and features national and international leaders and experts from the public, private, and non-profit sectors. CHLI seeks to provide leadership on a number of issues currently affecting the Hispanic community. Throughout the series, CHLI strives to facilitate an in-depth dialogue to discuss relevant topics impacting the U.S. Hispanic community and our hemisphere.

The goal of the series is to inform Members of Congress, their staff, national leaders, and members of the media of issues that impact the Hispanic community. The Congressional Briefing Series provides a forum to discuss the current political environment, analyze the impact of public policy, discuss areas of improvement, and promote the engagement of the Hispanic community in both the public and private sector.

CHLI finds itself in an ideal position to demonstrate strong leadership in a number of issues currently facing the Hispanic community. CHLI’s areas of focus are in commerce, trade, technology, energy, environment and higher education. In lieu of a national conference, CHLI convenes thought leaders throughout the years as issues arise relevant to the economic progress of Hispanic communities across the country.

The Congressional Briefings serve as a valuable resource for corporations in the Washington, D.C. area, national leaders, and Members of Congress to educate the public on pressing issues in the Hispanic community.
